Seat

Refers to the bolt seat.

Shim

A Shim is a thin spacer, usually available in 3 or 5mm.

Shim spacers are non-hubcentric (no lip). (See Hubcentric).

Slip-on

Slip-on spacers slip straight onto the hub then use extended wheel bolts to secure the wheel to the hub through the spacer.

Spacer

A spacer is a piece of material used to create space between two points (e.g. between the wheel hub and the wheel).

Spigot Adapter

A Spigot Adapter alters the spigot diameter of the hub whilst maintaining the bolt/stud pattern. Enables the user to fit wheels from a different manufacturer to their vehicle.

Spigot Length

The length (usually in mm) from the hub to the end of the spigot.

Studded

A spacer or adapter with studs pressed in. Could also be used to refer to a vehicle that uses studs rather than bolts.

Studs

Studs are threaded fasteners that hold the wheel to the vehicle’s hub.

Suspension

Supports the vehicle on it’s wheels using springs and shock absorbers. Can be modified using our suspension lift spacers and swamper kits.
